Hours: This is not an on-going clinic. Call for list of classes. Participant will attend classes four times the first week, and two times the second week.
Services: Fresh Break offers free or low-cost smoking cessation programs to the Tampa Bay community. Smoking cessation counseling is typically offered to individuals or small groups that meet at the clinic in the afternoon or early evening. This is not a program for pregnant women. Individuals may be treated with a combination of counseling, pharmacological aids (such as nicotine replacement products) and other innovative approaches.

Tampa General Hospital Freedom From Smoking

Services: Offers smoking cessation classes 4-5 times a year for 8 weeks, once a week. Clients quit "cold turkey" with support from classes. Classes are held off-site in Hyde Park.

St Joseph’s Hospital Freedom From Smoking Program

Services: Eight session program, developed by the American Lung Association that will provide the extra support a person needs to kick the smoking habit for good. Experts will teach you how to change behaviors and become smoke free. Call 813-870-4747 to register.

University Community Weight Loss Advanced Hyponatherapeutics

Location: 3100 E. Fletcher Ave Tampa, FL 33613 (Call the 1-800-848-2822 to register. It may take 1-4 weeks to get a class together. Rena Greenberg will come to a site other than UCH, but must be guaranteed a group of 12).
Services: Weight loss and smoking cessation through the Rena Greenberg program–"Easy Willpower" (www.easywillpower.com). The program consists of a live hypnotic experience. There are tools that the person uses at home. The weight loss program meets approximately once a month; smoking cessation approximately once every 6-8 weeks. After the hypnosis session, there are reinforcements tapes to take home to listen to that provide necessary reinforcement. There is a one-time fee, but client can come to unlimited monthly meetings.
